Step 2: Configure account access
You configure IAM roles in the AWS console. Perforce Unified Compliance provides guidance for this process, including policy templates that you can use when creating the roles.

Set up access keys
For optimization and VM discovery you can configure the account to connect using access keys.
Create an IAM user for Perforce Unified Compliance. For full instructions on configuring an IAM user, see the AWS documentation.
Step 1: Attach required permissions
Attach the permissions policy provided by Perforce. This policy grants Perforce Unified Compliance access to the required resources.
Replace <BUCKET_NAME> in the policy with the name of the S3 bucket containing the cost export data.
Step 2: Generate and save credentials
After assigning permissions:

Complete the creation process, then click Create user.

Download the Access key and Secret access key when prompted.
The access key and secret access key are provided only once. -
Store the access key and secret access key securely using your organization's secret management process.
