Value of premium modules

The Puppet Forge premium modules are software packages designed to address challenging automation problems. For example, a premium module named Security Compliance Enforcement for Linux is designed to automatically enforce secure configurations across IT infrastructures. All premium modules are developed and supported by the Puppet business unit of Perforce Software, Inc.

Traditionally, users could obtain premium modules by purchasing a subscription and having an entitlement stored on Puppet Forge. Starting in July 2024, a new method of entitlement was introduced. Today, an organization must be associated with a Perforce customer account so that the organization’s members can access one or more premium modules.
