SCE for Windows

Security Compliance Enforcement (SCE) for Windows is a fully supported Puppet premium content module. You can deploy SCE for Windows to help ensure that your servers and workstations on Microsoft Windows operating systems comply with CIS Benchmarks.

Getting access to SCE

• To access the full range of Puppet Enterprise (PE) capabilities, purchase Puppet Enterprise Advanced. This license provides entitlement to a suite of premium features, including SCE. For details, see Puppet Plans & Pricing.
• If you have the standard Puppet Enterprise (PE) license, you can purchase SCE as an add-on premium feature. After activating your subscription, you can log in to your Puppet Forge account and generate an API token on your profile page. Then, you can download and install the modules. For more information, see Puppet Forge Premium Modules.

• Alternatively, purchase Puppet Core, which includes an entitlement to the SCE modules. For details, see Welcome to Puppet Core.

• If you have an active subscription to the Compliance Enforcement Modules (CEM), you are automatically granted access to the SCE modules.
