Create a workflow

To create a workflow:

1. From the PE console navigation bar, select Workflows.

2. Click Create workflow.

3. In the Workflow information section, add a name and description (optional) for your workflow.

4. In the Workflow parameters section, enter parameter details and add parameters.

   The value of a variable parameter is configured by the runner of a workflow at run time. The value of a constant parameter is configured by the creator of a workflow and is not visible to the runner of a workflow.

5. In the Workflow steps section, Click Add steps and from the dropdown select one of the following:

   • Puppet Task

   • Puppet Plan

   • Ansible^® Playbook

   • Ansible^® command

   • Output Message

6. Enter step information and map parameters to a constant or a variable.

7. Click Save workflow.

   The workflow is now available to run.
